We conducted an accessibility audit of the city center, analyzing it in terms of architectural, urban and functional barriers. The work was based on a methodology based on universal design guidelines and accessibility standards. The process included consultations with representatives of academic circles and experts in the field of architecture, urban planning and mobility. The audit included, among others, an analysis of pedestrian infrastructure, public transport, signage and accessibility of public buildings. Key barriers and possible solutions were identified to improve the quality of urban space for people with different needs.
